Marco Paull could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Darrell Oconnell made a huge save. A collision led to NSW Fighters getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Blade Macinnes hit a great ball. Jarrett Connolly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brown Virgin in the 22nd minute of the match. Jarrett Connolly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brown Virgin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jarrett Connolly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Awage in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Danny Awage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glendart's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Awage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jarrett Connolly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Awage in the 29th minute of the match. NSW Fighters's Marco Paull got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, NSW Fighters's Barry Convine got a free kick in the 35th minute. Marco Paull fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darrell Oconnell having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Glendart's Rudolph Missen got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glendart's goalkeeper Darrell Oconnell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danny Awage to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to NSW Fighters getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bradshaw Cridland hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Brown Virgin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Otto Jobson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Darrell Oconnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, NSW Fighters's Marco Paull sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darrell Oconnell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute Glendart were awarded a corner. Nelson Scalzo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Glendart's corner Nelson Scalzo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jarrett Connolly quite easily take care of the ball. After 80 minutes, Marco Paull mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NSW Fighters and the Glendart players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, NSW Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Paull to maneuver through the defense. Brown Virgin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute, Glendart's Danny Awage ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jarrett Connolly. Jarrett Connolly yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 89th match minute, Glendart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irwin Schulzte to maneuver through the defense. If Marco Paull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 94 minutes of play, NSW Fighters's Otto Jobson made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darrell Oconnell was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Glendart players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
