Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Berke Mcmillan made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Magpies's Arnold Richard got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Russel Andrusiow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neville Bostock having to interfere. Magpies's Neville Bostock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Sawbridge in the 6th minute of play. After some careless play in the Altona Meadows defense, Max Owens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barney Boneheyo. The Altona Meadows fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barney Boneheyo should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Altona Meadows's Casper Sawbridge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neville Bostock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Berke Mcmillan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Russel Andrusiow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Owens charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Max Owens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Max Owens hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Russel Andrusiow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altona Meadows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Russel Andrusiow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Casper Sawbridge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magpies's Neville Bostock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Russel Andrusiow in the 38th minute of play forced Magpies's goalkeeper Neville Bostock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Max Owens. When Kirk Delbridge came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Magpies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kirk Delbridge couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Phil Gorham to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casper Sawbridge in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neville Bostock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Berke Mcmillan came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Altona Meadows fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berke Mcmillan couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Magpies's Kirk Delbridge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barney Boneheyo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 62 played minutes Altona Meadows got a freekick which was hit by Boris Pukallus. In the 72nd minute, Berke Mcmillan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magpies's Neville Bostock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berke Mcmillan in the 73rd minute of play. Neville Bostock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boris Pukallus went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Barney Boneheyo came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Magpies's Bryson Colling. But to his dismay, Bryson Colling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Russel Andrusiow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neville Bostock having to interfere. Neville Bostock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berke Mcmillan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Berke Mcmillan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altona Meadows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berke Mcmillan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If James Mogork had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berke Mcmillan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle went the supporters of Magpies were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Altona Meadows side.
