Spectators: 7984 (Terracing: 5989, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 159) Grimulators's Arthur Hayward started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marshal Kinsey was a little too slow when Bleyd Cudmore got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Alfred Olejasz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15thth minute of the game Max Gissane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grimulators's Marshal Kinsey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bleyd Cudmore received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marshal Kinsey came out and tried to block the shot, but Bleyd Cudmore slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. Bleyd Cudmore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marshal Kinsey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Max Gissane showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 22 minute of play. In the 25th minute, Damian Gissane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred Olejasz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Max Gissane kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marshal Kinsey. That made the score 4-0 in the 29 minute of play. After 32 played minutes, Duffield United's Alfred Olejasz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marshal Kinsey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Duffield United reached it. Grimulators's Marshal Kinsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Gissane in the 33rd minute of play. If Alfred Olejasz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marshal Kinsey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Max Gissane's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. A collision led to Grimulators getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Barnabas Sennett hit a great ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Jacobs Will managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duffield United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobs Will was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hal Schonke during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Duffield United got a freekick which was hit by Hal Schonke. In the 46th minute Tony Mcquinn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Furkan Sweet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Max Gissane to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bleyd Cudmore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Max Gissane sped through Grimulators's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marshal Kinsey. After 64 minutes, Fabrizio Odd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grimulators and the Duffield United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Grimulators getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fabrizio Odd hit a great ball. Max Gissane took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marshal Kinsey. Marshal Kinsey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Bleyd Cudmore might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marshal Kinsey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bleyd Cudmore ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, Max Gissane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marshal Kinsey. Grimulators's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Max Gissane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. If Bleyd Cudmore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Alfred Olejasz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Tony Mcquinn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Max Gissane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alfred Olejasz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alfred Olejasz came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Duffield United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Olejasz couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Grimulators's goal looked a bit too open when Max Gissane came free, but Marshal Kinsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Grimulators's Arthur Hayward sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Furkan Sweet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Duffield United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
