Spectators: 8002 (Terracing: 6021, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 135) Andrews Rummens made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Rick Dobbing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Andrews Rummens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrews Rummens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barney Locke having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, DisOrient FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedict Magrath to maneuver through the defense. Nichol Waterland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Nero Anders made a huge save. Earl Scalzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nero Anders having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Andrews Rummens put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Barney Locke. Barney Locke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrews Rummens, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 40th minute Andrews Rummens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barney Locke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brayden Korff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DisOrient FC! Barney Locke went to the wrong direction when Brayden Kean was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Andrews Rummens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Barney Locke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Earl Scalzo to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Andrews Rummens kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Barney Locke. That made the score 0-4 in the 54 minute of play. Andrews Rummens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barney Locke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Rodd Frew hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. DisOrient FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Andrews Rummens scored to the left of an out of position Barney Locke, making the score, 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brayden Korff got free with Barney Locke in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 68 minutes, Brayden Korff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atherton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brayden Korff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Andrews Rummens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atherton's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrews Rummens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barney Locke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 75 minutes, Brayden Korff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atherton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brayden Korff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benny Twite during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Atherton got a freekick which was hit by Benny Twite. Earl Scalzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrews Rummens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Barney Locke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Andrews Rummens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregg Jeavons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atherton played a much better game than DisOrient FC and deserved their victory. The DisOrient FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
