After 2 minutes, Nichol Waterland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DisOrient FC and the Inactive Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nichol Waterland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paz Coburn having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Inactive Team's zone, Earl Scalzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paz Coburn came out of the goal and Earl Scalzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Brice Kuch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DisOrient FC's Barney Locke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of DisOrient FC booed when Inactive Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belton Colman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Alexander Smoothey sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paz Coburn skillfully saved the ball. Earl Scalzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nichol Waterland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paz Coburn having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, DisOrient FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arneil Porteus came free, but Barney Locke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, DisOrient FC's Earl Scalzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paz Coburn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute Brice Kuch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barney Locke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodd Frew kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. In the 49th minute of the match Bryden Hess sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barney Locke skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brice Kuch made a kick off. Brice Kuch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Brice Kuch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Barney Locke. That made the score 0-1 in the 57 minute of play. Barney Locke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brice Kuch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 63 minutes, Nichol Waterland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DisOrient FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nichol Waterland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Arneil Porteus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paz Coburn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. DisOrient FC's Barney Locke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save DisOrient FC from getting a goal against them.
