Spectators: 6852 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arthur Heberle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ed Muddle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ed Muddle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonty Hamilton in the 12th minute of play. If Arthur Heberle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ed Muddle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luke Brophy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Arthur Heberle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ed Muddle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Lisdillon booed when Nile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeffray Beer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benny Schultz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bruce Chapman firmly grabbed it by the left post.

Bruce Chapman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny Schultz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Bruce Chapman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Lascelles in the 54th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Lisdillon's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Heberle came free, but Ed Muddle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Brophy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ed Muddle made a huge save. Ed Muddle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Heberle in the 64th minute of play. Marcus Ramsay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Chapman having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Jonty Hamilton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ed Muddle. Lisdillon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonty Hamilton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Remy Behla's late challenge caught a Nile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remy Behla helped the player get up and apologised. Benny Schultz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonty Hamilton's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Ed Muddle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Marcus Ramsay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lisdillon's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Ramsay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruce Chapman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the game, Lisdillon's Matthew Lascelles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruce Chapman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Nile's Arthur Heberle got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Arthur Heberle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ed Muddle was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. The Lisdillon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nile were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
