An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Turner in the 5th minute of play forced Los Angeles de Coco's goalkeeper Ray Domenichetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Cubitt charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Cubitt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Angeles de Coco booed when Lewisham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Cubitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Andre Lawrence got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Jemmett Prior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ivan Maciver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lewisham's Duncan Byrnes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Lewisham from getting a goal against them. Bran Minton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 28 minutes, Andre Lawrence managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Angeles de Coco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andre Lawrence was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andre Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Andre Lawrence came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Los Angeles de Coco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre Lawrence couldn't finish the play. Andre Lawrence fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Byrnes having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Roger Turner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ray Domenichetti. Los Angeles de Coco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Turner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ivan Maciver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Duncan Byrnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 44th minute of the match Carlos Cubitt completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carlos Cubitt a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The wind increased when Bryanne Wang made the kick off in the second half. Duncan Byrnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Lawrence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Los Angeles de Coco's goalkeeper Ray Domenichetti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryanne Wang. Andre Lawrence took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duncan Byrnes. Duncan Byrnes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Bryanne Wang's late challenge caught a Los Angeles de Coco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bryanne Wang helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lewisham's Bryanne Wang got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Duncan Byrnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Lawrence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Angeles de Coco's Ray Domenichetti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Los Angeles de Coco from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Los Angeles de Coco's Andre Lawrence sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duncan Byrnes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bryanne Wang might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ray Domenichetti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bryanne Wang ran back to his position shaking his head. From close distance Kent Adair pressed in the 1-3 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 96 minutes into the game. Although Los Angeles de Coco had been in control for most of the match, Lewisham still came away with the win.
