Loud Deeth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Brand Stockwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gulginni's Ralph Mundine got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brand Stockwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loud Deeth in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Badsons defense, Ralph Mundine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brand Stockwin. The Badsons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brand Stockwin should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Badsons getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nichol Magnay hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Ralph Mundine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loud Deeth in the 29th minute of play forced Badsons's goalkeeper Brand Stockwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If John Hogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barnes Tongs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Dakota Howarth had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aden Lawson during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Gulginni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aden Lawson to maneuver through the defense. Gulginni's Brendan Hunter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Gulginni from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Gulginni's Brendan Hunter got control of the ball when John Hogan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The wind increased when John Hogan made the kick off in the second half. Nichol Magnay charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nichol Magnay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Nichol Magnay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Hogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Barnes Haeberle's late challenge caught a Badsons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barnes Haeberle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Gulginni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnes Haeberle to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Badsons booed when Gulginni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnes Haeberle didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, John Hogan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brendan Hunter. Gulginni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Hogan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Barnes Haeberle was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 72nd match minute, Gulginni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnes Haeberle to maneuver through the defense. Brad Stafford was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Brendan Hunter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Hogan in the 77th minute of the match. Ralph Mundine in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brand Stockwin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Berkeley Sperling fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Badsons's protests and gave Berkeley Sperling a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute of the match, Ralph Mundine got a very nice opportunity to score, but Brand Stockwin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 86th minute, Brye Gorham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aden Lawson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute John Hogan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan Hunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
