Spectators: 7386 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 50) Barnes Tongs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Byrnes having to interfere. In the 6th minute, John Hogan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Badsons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Kent Adair had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brand Stockwin. Badsons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kent Adair was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Duncan Byrnes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Badsons. When John Hogan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Duncan Byrnes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Duncan Byrnes came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Badsons's John Hogan. But to his dismay, John Hogan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Bryanne Wang came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Lewisham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryanne Wang couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Barnes Tongs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brand Stockwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Adair in the 40th minute of play. If Bryanne Wang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lewisham's Duncan Byrnes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Lewisham from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kent Adair made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Lewisham's goal looked a bit too open when Barnes Tongs came free, but Duncan Byrnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If John Hogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th match minute, Lewisham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Turner to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Kent Adair reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brand Stockwin. The goal made the score 2-2. Bryanne Wang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Badsons's John Hogan got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Lewisham got a freekick which was hit by Kent Adair. Barnes Tongs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Duncan Byrnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Kent Adair reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brand Stockwin. The goal made the score 2-3. John Hogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Duncan Byrnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lewisham's Carlos Cubitt got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Barnes Tongs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lewisham had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
