Brye Coburn kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Downing Heathwood made a precise shot to the right of Ray Domenichetti. Los Angeles de Coco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Edmonds Mckay's late challenge caught a Backpacker FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmonds Mckay helped the player get up and apologised. Edmonds Mckay kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Paz Staggard in the 35th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ray Domenichetti's left hand side. Bran Minton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kris Brophy having to interfere. Ivan Maciver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Kris Brophy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Los Angeles de Coco defense, Kane Hardiman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ray Domenichetti. The Los Angeles de Coco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ray Domenichetti should have stopped the shot. The Los Angeles de Coco players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Backpacker FC were winning 0-2.

Los Angeles de Coco's Bran Minton got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kris Brophy came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Angeles de Coco's Bran Minton. But to his dismay, Bran Minton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Hunn in the 58th minute of play forced Los Angeles de Coco's goalkeeper Ray Domenichetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kris Brophy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andre Lawrence went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Backpacker FC's goalkeeper Kris Brophy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Andre Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bran Minton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Ivan Maciver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Angeles de Coco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Justin Hunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Domenichetti having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Lawrence in the 89th minute of play forced Backpacker FC's goalkeeper Kris Brophy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Los Angeles de Coco getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ivan Maciver hit a great ball. Ray Domenichetti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Downing Heathwood in the 92nd minute.
