Los Angeles de Coco's Ray Domenichetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luck Bailey in the 15th minute of play. Southern DeShaun's Luck Bailey got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Luck Bailey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ray Domenichetti. Los Angeles de Coco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luck Bailey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 30 minutes into the game, Luck Bailey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Southern DeShaun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Angeles de Coco the free kick. Ray Domenichetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luck Bailey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Pack made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andre Lawrence in the 37th minute. A collision led to Los Angeles de Coco getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Philip Tresise hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andre Lawrence stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Los Angeles de Coco booed when Southern DeShaun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedict Schenck didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Byron Behla fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southern DeShaun's protests and gave Byron Behla a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Southern DeShaun:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Angeles de Coco:s goal. The referee gave Los Angeles de Coco a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Clark Sparrow, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Southern DeShaun's Samuel Pack. 1-2. Luck Bailey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ray Domenichetti made a huge save. If Luck Bailey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Angeles de Coco's goalkeeper Ray Domenichetti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Los Angeles de Coco's Andre Lawrence sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Pack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Los Angeles de Coco's goal looked a bit too open when Luck Bailey came free, but Ray Domenichetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedict Schenck's late challenge caught a Los Angeles de Coco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedict Schenck helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Southern DeShaun's zone, Andre Lawrence stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Pack came out of the goal and Andre Lawrence tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 98th minute, Adolfo Trevena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Southern DeShaun left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Angeles de Coco.
