Spectators: 8005 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 159) Kent Adair made the kick off and thus started the match. Jemmett Prior hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Esk's Rusty Brandie got a free kick in the 8th minute. Bryanne Wang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lewisham booed when Esk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kane Freeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kent Adair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Burt Houldsworth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duncan Byrnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barney Kennewell in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Esk booed when Lewisham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Cubitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esk's Burt Houldsworth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Adair in the 22nd minute of play. Bryanne Wang scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Burt Houldsworth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Esk's goalkeeper Burt Houldsworth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryanne Wang. After 35 played minutes, Esk's Biddle Fitzpatrick shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Duncan Byrnes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esk reached it. 40 minutes into the game, Kane Freeman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lewisham the free kick. Kane Freeman hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles Snabl to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Esk's Kane Freeman got a free kick in the 51st minute. Barney Kennewell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Byrnes having to interfere. Charles Snabl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Duncan Byrnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kent Adair might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Burt Houldsworth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kent Adair ran back to his position shaking his head. After 69 played minutes Esk got a freekick which was hit by Brannan Anders. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Bryanne Wang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lewisham's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryanne Wang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Burt Houldsworth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Burt Houldsworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Adair in the 76th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Esk got a freekick which was hit by Dale Hardiman. Bryanne Wang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Burt Houldsworth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryanne Wang in the 82nd minute of play forced Esk's goalkeeper Burt Houldsworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Charles Snabl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lewisham booed when Esk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biddle Fitzpatrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Esk! Burt Houldsworth went to the wrong direction when Jemmett Prior was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 98 minutes into the match, Bryanne Wang notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Esk's Burt Houldsworth. Burt Houldsworth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lewisham fans cheered their team off the field, for while Esk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
