Charles Snabl started the match with the kick off. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Angeles de Coco! 16 minutes into the match, Charles Snabl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ray Domenichetti. Los Angeles de Coco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Snabl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 21 minutes of play, Esk's Charles Snabl made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ray Domenichetti was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Bran Minton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Kane Freeman notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Los Angeles de Coco's Ray Domenichetti. Ray Domenichetti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Los Angeles de Coco's Andre Lawrence got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barney Kennewell in the 42nd minute of play forced Los Angeles de Coco's goalkeeper Ray Domenichetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Los Angeles de Coco defense, Dale Hardiman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ray Domenichetti. The Los Angeles de Coco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ray Domenichetti should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andre Lawrence to strike the kick off in the second half. Eddy Pywell kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Andre Lawrence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Burt Houldsworth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Andre Lawrence came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Los Angeles de Coco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre Lawrence couldn't finish the play. Los Angeles de Coco's Ray Domenichetti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Angeles de Coco from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute of the match, Barney Kennewell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ray Domenichetti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ray Domenichetti made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Kane Freeman sent off a good shot on target. Andre Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Los Angeles de Coco got a freekick which was hit by Eddy Pywell. Bran Minton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rusty Brandie's late challenge caught a Los Angeles de Coco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rusty Brandie helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Esk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Bran Minton walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Andre Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kane Freeman hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Burt Houldsworth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Lawrence, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Esk walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
