Spectators: 8142 (Terracing: 6107, Seating: 1873, VIP seats: 162) Phillip Pegler made the kick off and thus started the match. When PEI United's Todd Glover in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kyeemagh's goalie prevented a goal. Brad Sanderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neale Peach having to interfere. Jeffers Kreck kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Neale Peach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffers Kreck in the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kyeemagh's zone, Carsyn Ashwin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarrod Stevenson came out of the goal and Carsyn Ashwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neale Peach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brad Sanderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute of the match Berny Delbridge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Neale Peach skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phillip Pegler in the 27th minute of play forced PEI United's goalkeeper Neale Peach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PEI United's Neale Peach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brad Sanderson in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brad Sanderson in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neale Peach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the game, Cassidy Bonnison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kyeemagh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PEI United the free kick. Cassidy Bonnison hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Neale Peach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffers Kreck in the 39th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carsyn Ashwin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bran Haydock kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Carsyn Ashwin scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarrod Stevenson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Todd Glover blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarrod Stevenson having to make a save. 64 minutes into the game, Carsyn Ashwin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jarrod Stevenson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 68 minutes, Carsyn Ashwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEI United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carsyn Ashwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Kyeemagh's goal looked a bit too open when Carsyn Ashwin came free, but Jarrod Stevenson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, PEI United's goal looked a bit too open when Phillip Pegler came free, but Neale Peach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeffers Kreck hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Todd Glover ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarrod Stevenson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jarrod Stevenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carsyn Ashwin in the 77th minute of play. Kyeemagh's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Berny Delbridge in the 83rd minute. After taking down the ball on Kyeemagh's corner Berny Delbridge fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Neale Peach quite easily take care of the ball. After 84 played minutes PEI United got a freekick which was hit by Bill Cusbert. In the 86th minute, Phillip Pegler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Kyeemagh's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Glover came free, but Jarrod Stevenson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kyeemagh's Phillip Pegler got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee gave Kyeemagh a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Berny Delbridge, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PEI United's Neale Peach. 3-1. Phillip Pegler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Neale Peach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PEI United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kyeemagh for a fine match.
