Lewisham's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Samuel Pack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Adair, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Adolfo Trevena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Byrnes having to interfere. A collision led to Lewisham getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Roger Turner hit a great ball. Luck Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Byrnes having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Roger Turner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Luck Bailey made the kick off in the second half. Luck Bailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Adolfo Trevena fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Duncan Byrnes, passed just outside the right post. In the 77th minute, Murdock Twite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Southern DeShaun's Luck Bailey in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Valentin Edwardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
