Los Angeles de Coco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Earle Minne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Phenix Korff made a kick off. In the 55th minute Earle Minne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Domenichetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute Andre Lawrence shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edison Fasey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Perth Lynx's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Lawrence came free, but Edison Fasey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ray Domenichetti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roland Brandie showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 68 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Earle Minne got free with Ray Domenichetti in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hal Coote came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ray Domenichetti could save by the left post. If Andre Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Andre Lawrence got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Perth Lynx walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
