Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Donovan Pfingst started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Donovan Pfingst blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carter Glover having to make a save. After 6 played minutes Kewell got a freekick which was hit by Darryl Wang. Benedict Wirth was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 9th match minute, Soupers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humphry Knaack to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Soupers's Grant Frew got a free kick in the 10th minute. Baxter Adair scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dean Telfer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Jordon Smoothey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Baxter Adair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Telfer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordon Smoothey hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Donovan Pfingst's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carter Glover read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baxter Adair in the 28th minute of play forced Soupers's goalkeeper Dean Telfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Soupers got a freekick which was hit by Grant Frew. Baxter Adair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dean Telfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Soupers defense, Ryan Bowman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dean Telfer. The Soupers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dean Telfer should have stopped the shot. If Ed Crapp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Grant Frew managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soupers's supporters rose to their feet, but Grant Frew was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carter Glover breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Soupers's Donovan Pfingst got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jordon Smoothey was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baxter Adair was the one to do the kick off. Humphry Knaack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kewell's Howard Greenbank got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Pfingst in the 56th minute of play forced Kewell's goalkeeper Carter Glover to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Broderick Jackson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Donovan Pfingst came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Soupers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donovan Pfingst couldn't finish the play. Grant Frew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Glover having to interfere. Soupers's Dean Telfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baxter Adair in the 68th minute of play. Dean Telfer made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Baxter Adair sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Pfingst in the 76th minute of play forced Kewell's goalkeeper Carter Glover to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Benedict Wirth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soupers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kewell the free kick. After a rather tough play, Soupers's Benedict Wirth got a free kick in the 85th minute. Baxter Adair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dean Telfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Kewell players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
