Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Donovan Pfingst started the match with the kick off. Dean Telfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Rose in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Rose in the 8th minute of play forced Soupers's goalkeeper Dean Telfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes of play, FC Le Grub's Richard Rose made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dean Telfer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the match, Donovan Pfingst notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Le Grub's Aaron Carr. Aaron Carr was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the match, John Calver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dean Telfer. Soupers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Calver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 21st minute, John Calver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Le Grub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. If Donovan Pfingst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grant Frew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Aaron Carr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Le Grub's Aaron Carr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donovan Pfingst in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Soupers got a corner. FC Le Grub's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benedict Wirth ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dean Telfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reese Dollimore, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Soupers's Dean Telfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reese Dollimore in the 34th minute of play. Humphry Knaack recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grant Frew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Aaron Carr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Soupers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Le Grub were winning 1-3.

FC Le Grub's Aaron Carr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donovan Pfingst in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Le Grub's Richard Rose got a free kick in the 57th minute. Aaron Carr stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donovan Pfingst's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After 60 minutes, Albert Hoskin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Le Grub and the Soupers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albert Hoskin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute John Calver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Telfer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dean Telfer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Calver went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Dean Telfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bishop Lambourne, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Rose got free with Dean Telfer in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reese Dollimore kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match, Richard Rose got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dean Telfer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 82 minutes into the game, FC Le Grub's John Calver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dean Telfer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Richard Rose hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Soupers's Dean Telfer got control of the ball when Richard Rose tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Richard Rose cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Dean Telfer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Reese Dollimore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dean Telfer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. FC Le Grub's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
