Chuck Collings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Bowman in the 8th minute of the match. Baxter Adair took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chuck Collings. Chuck Collings dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Chuck Collings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Bowman in the 12th minute of the match. Geelong FC 1864's Chuck Collings played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Bowman in the 14th minute of play. Chuck Collings showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Bowman, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ryan Bowman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Chuck Collings tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Patrick Price managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kewell's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Price was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chuck Collings breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alan Hollingworth kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Chuck Collings was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jordon Smoothey showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. Chuck Collings made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Bowman in the 42nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dacosta Lawson during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dacosta Lawson hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Ryan Bowman made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Baxter Adair notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Geelong FC 1864's Chuck Collings. Chuck Collings was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Baxter Adair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geelong FC 1864's Eliot Inwood quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dacosta Lawson, made in the 67th minute of the game. A collision led to Geelong FC 1864 getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Eliot Inwood hit a great ball. Chuck Collings came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Kewell's Baxter Adair. But to his dismay, Baxter Adair quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Chuck Collings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baxter Adair in the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to Geelong FC 1864 getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jonty Pavkovic hit a great ball. Chuck Collings made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Bowman in the 97th minute of play. Kewell's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
