The supporters of The Enforcers booed when Kooringal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everitt Beer didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randle Bodimeade in the 4th minute of play forced Kooringal's goalkeeper Henry Hinwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brooks Tisdell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Adair in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Bert Whatman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Brooks Tisdell, 1-0. Brooks Tisdell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amos Frew went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Downing Schultz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Hinwood having to interfere. Bishop Rosenboom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bert Whatman was the one to do the kick off. When Bran Laing fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Enforcers's protests and gave Bran Laing a yellow card for diving instead. Bran Laing hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Bert Whatman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes, Bert Whatman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kooringal and the The Enforcers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute Amos Frew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brooks Tisdell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Downing Schultz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Hinwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bishop Rosenboom, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, The Enforcers's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Frew came free, but Brooks Tisdell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brooks Tisdell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bert Whatman in the 76th minute of the match. Brooks Tisdell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bert Whatman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bishop Rosenboom in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Hinwood saved Kooringal from getting behind. If Bert Whatman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Adair in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brooks Tisdell saved The Enforcers from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the The Enforcers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kooringal.
