Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cullen Raison got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bert Whatman in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Payton Haydock saved MongolianWarrior from getting behind. When Bert Whatman came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Kooringal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Whatman couldn't finish the play. MongolianWarrior's Payton Haydock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bert Whatman in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Everitt Beer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Payton Haydock showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cullen Raison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kooringal booed when MongolianWarrior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Richard didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Case Triplett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Kooringal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjy Brophy to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Amos Frew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Payton Haydock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes MongolianWarrior got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Richard. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amos Frew in the 35th managed to get into a good position. Case Triplett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Henry Hinwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute of the match, Cullen Raison tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Henry Hinwood saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Henry Hinwood successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Amos Frew came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Kooringal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amos Frew couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bert Whatman made a kick off. Cullen Raison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Hinwood having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Cullen Raison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MongolianWarrior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cullen Raison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Cullen Raison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MongolianWarrior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Henry Hinwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Case Triplett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Kenneth Day was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kooringal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MongolianWarrior the free kick. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kooringal's goalkeeper Henry Hinwood, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cullen Raison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Henry Hinwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
