Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cullen Raison started the match with the kick off. If Corey Leydin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Payton Haydock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neil Gorham in the 8th minute of the match. Payton Haydock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neil Gorham's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. A collision led to MongolianWarrior getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Herbert Richard hit a great ball. MongolianWarrior's Payton Haydock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corey Leydin in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corey Leydin in the 33rd minute of play forced MongolianWarrior's goalkeeper Payton Haydock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Neil Gorham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herbert Richard hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Neil Gorham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cullen Raison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney Rockets's Arnie Howie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cullen Raison in the 44th minute of play. Cullen Raison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Case Tripletts short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Arnie Howie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Payton Haydock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neil Gorham in the 52nd minute. Corey Leydin might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Payton Haydock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Corey Leydin ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnie Howie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cullen Raison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Darrell Castray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Payton Haydock came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Sydney Rockets's Neil Gorham. But to his dismay, Neil Gorham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, MongolianWarrior's Herbert Richard got a free kick in the 64th minute. Murphey Barugh, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to MongolianWarrior getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eliot Hopkins hit a great ball. Murphey Barugh, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 75th minute of the match, Corey Leydin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Payton Haydock saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Case Triplett charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Case Triplett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes MongolianWarrior got a freekick which was hit by Case Triplett. Corey Leydin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Payton Haydock having to interfere. When Nathaniel Gruer fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sydney Rockets's protests and gave Nathaniel Gruer a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Sydney Rockets:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MongolianWarrior:s goal. Case Triplett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Arnie Howie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loud Wharton kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Corey Leydin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Payton Haydock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neil Gorham got free with Payton Haydock in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 98th minute Cullen Raison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnie Howie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
