Spectators: 8154 (Terracing: 6117, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 162) In the 2nd minute, Jarvis Inwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Giles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Brandie, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, 69ers's Ian Locke got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Brandie in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Giles saved 69ers from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Gunyah's goal looked a bit too open when Barney Aliendi came free, but Dave Hislop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes Gunyah got a freekick which was hit by Darian Glover. In the 17th minute, Arthur Brandie fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ian Giles, passed just outside the right post. Barney Aliendi kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Arthur Brandie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, 69ers's Ian Giles got control of the ball when Arthur Brading tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arthur Brandie might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ian Giles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arthur Brandie ran back to his position shaking his head. Ian Giles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Brandie in the 31st minute of play. Dave Hislop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barney Aliendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Arthur Brandie struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ian Giles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gunyah. With his leg Ian Giles managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Gunyah's Jarvis Inwood fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arthur Brading received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ian Giles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur Brading sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Drew Sparrow kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Brandie in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Giles saved 69ers from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arthur Brandie was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Gunyah booed when 69ers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loud Skurrie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 played minutes 69ers got a freekick which was hit by Drew Sparrow. In the 55th minute, Richard Mosley sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and 69ers's Ian Giles didn't even have to move. In the 65thth minute of the game Arthur Brading who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 69ers's Ian Giles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1-0 became the score in the 69th minute when Arthur Brandie elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Arthur Brading ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Giles was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, 69ers's Russel Obrien got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ian Locke hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Gunyah's Dave Hislop got control of the ball when Hans Virgin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barney Aliendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, 69ers's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Brading came free, but Ian Giles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes 69ers got a freekick which was hit by Russel Obrien. Ian Giles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Brandie's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gunyah fully deserved thier win.
