Quandialla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobs Legg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Brandie in the 37th minute of play forced Quandialla's goalkeeper Byron Parryman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthur Brandie in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Byron Parryman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Byron Parryman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Brandie in the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Gunyah booed when Quandialla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Gillingwater didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arthur Brandie came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Gunyah fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Brandie couldn't finish the play.
