In the 59th minute Howard Wirth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burns Schoenke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Andres Veitch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jarvis Johnson. That made the score 1-1 in the 61 minute of play. Burns Schoenke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martyon Phasey in the 66th minute of play. Burns Schoenke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Howard Wirth, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Pete Alcock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martyon Phasey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Burns Schoenke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Hells Bells SC's goal looked a bit too open when Martyon Phasey came free, but Burns Schoenke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
