Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Drew Adamson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Drew Adamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Paull having to interfere. Gulginni's Douglas Paull played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drew Adamson in the 6th minute of play. Hale Nelson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Bray Caddick made a huge save. Douglas Paull stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmund Smee's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Drew Adamson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newrybar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Drew Adamson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Drew Adamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Ritter's late challenge caught a Newrybar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Max Ritter helped the player get up and apologised. Max Ritter kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. During the 27th minute of the match Max Ritter completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Max Ritter a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Gulginni getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Max Ritter hit a great ball. Gulginni's Douglas Paull played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Smee in the 35th minute of play. Drew Adamson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmund Smee took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Paull. Douglas Paull dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The Gulginni players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Newrybar were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hale Nelson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Edmund Smee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newrybar and the Gulginni players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Newrybar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Smee to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Drew Adamson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Paull saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Drew Adamson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Drew Adamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Paull having to interfere. Drew Adamson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Douglas Paull tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Drew Adamson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Douglas Paull, passed just outside the right post. When Hale Nelson came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Gulginni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hale Nelson couldn't finish the play. After 74 played minutes Newrybar got a freekick which was hit by Dagan Worrall. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmund Smee kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Douglas Paull. That made the score 0-2 in the 79 minute of play. Drew Adamson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Gulginni's goalkeeper Douglas Paull had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmund Smee. Edmund Smee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Paull having to interfere. Clark Plummer hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Drew Adamson rounded Gulginni's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3.
