Tuckurimba's Brynn Calver got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quade Glover showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brynn Calver in the 7th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brynn Calver in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quade Glover prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brynn Calver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quade Glover having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Tuckurimba got a freekick which was hit by Kirk Tinsley. Herman Freeman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, North Geelong Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Mudie came free, but Quade Glover reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kale Bromfield hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Cafu Tande's late challenge caught a Tuckurimba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cafu Tande helped the player get up and apologised. Cafu Tande hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Quade Glover made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brynn Calver in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Brynn Calver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuckurimba's supporters rose to their feet, but Brynn Calver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quade Glover breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. North Geelong Warriors's Herman Freeman got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quade Glover showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brandon Conlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tuckurimba's zone, James Pearson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bremen Lorenz came out of the goal and James Pearson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herman Freeman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bremen Lorenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Brook Legg hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Brandon Conlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quade Glover having to interfere. The supporters of North Geelong Warriors booed when Tuckurimba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Gwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Herman Freeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. James Pearson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herman Freeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bremen Lorenz having to interfere. Robert Carragher's late challenge caught a Tuckurimba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braedan Feutrill kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, one of Tuckurimba:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tuckurimba. After a defensive mix-up in Tuckurimba's zone, Herman Freeman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bremen Lorenz came out of the goal and Herman Freeman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bremen Lorenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herman Freeman in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Freeman in the 87th minute of play forced Tuckurimba's goalkeeper Bremen Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. North Geelong Warriors had played much better football throughout.
