The referee ignored Hells Bells SC's protests and gave Brooker Didlock a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Hells Bells SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Newrybar:s goal. The referee gave Newrybar a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dagan Worrall, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hells Bells SC's Burns Schoenke. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Hells Bells SC's zone, Edmund Smee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burns Schoenke came out of the goal and Edmund Smee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
