Spectators: 7990 (Terracing: 5994, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Baxter Kuskoff successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. PeiPei United's Jarvis Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyd Rutledge in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasmine Turnor in the 8th minute of play forced PeiPei United's goalkeeper Jarvis Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Howard Wirth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jasmine Turnor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jarvis Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Peter Oshea fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PeiPei United's protests and gave Peter Oshea a yellow card for diving instead. 26 minutes into the game, one of PeiPei United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Antonia Hodson shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Howard Wirth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PeiPei United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Howard Wirth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baxter Kuskoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martyon Phasey, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Boyd Rutledge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lucyvale's supporters rose to their feet, but Boyd Rutledge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarvis Johnson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarvis Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasmine Turnor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Boyd Rutledge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarvis Johnson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The PeiPei United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lucyvale were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martyon Phasey made a kick off. A hard, long distance shot from Gregory Locke flew over the goal. Lucyvale's Baxter Kuskoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyon Phasey in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Lucyvale's goal looked a bit too open when Martyon Phasey came free, but Baxter Kuskoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Howard Wirth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baxter Kuskoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martyon Phasey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baxter Kuskoff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Howard Wirth's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. A collision led to Lucyvale getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cain Quinnell hit a great ball. Baxter Kuskoff came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by PeiPei United's Martyon Phasey. But to his dismay, Martyon Phasey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Martyon Phasey took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baxter Kuskoff. Baxter Kuskoff dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 79 minutes into the match, Lucyvale's goal looked a bit too open when Howard Wirth came free, but Baxter Kuskoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes of play, PeiPei United's Martyon Phasey made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baxter Kuskoff was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucyvale's Baxter Kuskoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Howard Wirth in the 88th minute of play. Baxter Kuskoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martyon Phasey in the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Bryson Hollis managed to get in a good position for a shot. PeiPei United's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryson Hollis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baxter Kuskoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Lucyvale's zone, Martyon Phasey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baxter Kuskoff came out of the goal and Martyon Phasey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Martyon Phasey came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the PeiPei United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martyon Phasey couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PeiPei United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lucyvale had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
