Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arne Prinsep made the kick off and thus started the match. Payne Hinder was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Payton Borserio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Payton Borserio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Poneke's goalkeeper Payne Hinder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmund Smee. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagan Worrall got free with Payne Hinder in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the game, Edmonds Salcedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bray Caddick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Drew Adamson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Payne Hinder, 3-2. 31 minutes into the match, Poneke's goal looked a bit too open when Dagan Worrall came free, but Payne Hinder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drew Adamson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Payne Hinder came out and tried to block the shot, but Drew Adamson slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 33rd minute. Bray Caddick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Prinsep in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Drew Adamson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Payne Hinder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 minutes, Edmund Smee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newrybar and the Poneke players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Newrybar's Edmund Smee got a free kick in the 40th minute. Edmund Smee succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-2 in the 43rd playminute. Bryant Edwards fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bray Caddick having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Drew Adamson to make the kick off. Payne Hinder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drew Adamson in the 54th minute of the match. Payne Hinder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Smee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Drew Adamson made a precise shot to the right of Payne Hinder. Poneke's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Smee in the 60th minute of play forced Poneke's goalkeeper Payne Hinder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Payne Hinder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew Adamson in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Drew Adamson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Payne Hinder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Smee in the 72nd minute of play. Payne Hinder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drew Adamson in the 73rd minute of the match. Poneke's Payne Hinder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagan Worrall in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Edmund Smee notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Poneke's Payne Hinder. Payne Hinder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, Dagan Worrall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Payne Hinder was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-2. In the 85th minute, Barry Sobezak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newrybar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-2. Drew Adamson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Barry Sobezak made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Drew Adamson however managed to control. Payne Hinder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Smee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Payne Hinder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagan Worrall in the 97th minute of play. Newrybar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
