Poneke's Payne Hinder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolph Bridson in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, one of Prophesy FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Prophesy FC. A collision led to Poneke getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bryant Edwards hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Chuck Hunter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Payne Hinder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arne Prinsep received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bleyd Monck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Arne Prinsep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bleyd Monck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Darian Annis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bleyd Monck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Prinsep in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Poneke were the better team. Poneke's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
