An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tout in the 26th minute of play forced PeiPei United's goalkeeper Jarvis Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Wadley got free with Jarvis Johnson in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th match minute, PeiPei United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martyon Phasey to maneuver through the defense. Martyon Phasey stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Liverpool Allstars's defenders and the ball went out. PeiPei United appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Martyon Phasey scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Weller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Richard Weller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Howard Wirth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dallas White's late challenge caught a PeiPei United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dallas White helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Liverpool Allstars got a freekick which was hit by Dallas White. 42 minutes in the game, Martyon Phasey dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Liverpool Allstars's goal looked a bit too open when Martyon Phasey came free, but Richard Weller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half PeiPei United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Howard Wirth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Wadley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarvis Johnson having to interfere. Alberto Tout took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarvis Johnson. Jarvis Johnson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Richard Weller made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Howard Wirth sent off a good shot on target. After 69 played minutes Liverpool Allstars got a freekick which was hit by Dallas White. 70 minutes into the match, Liverpool Allstars's goal looked a bit too open when Martyon Phasey came free, but Richard Weller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Weller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martyon Phasey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tout hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Howard Wirth managed to get in a good position for a shot. PeiPei United's supporters rose to their feet, but Howard Wirth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Weller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Martyon Phasey took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Richard Weller to make any attempt to save it. Richard Weller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martyon Phasey's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute PeiPei United were awarded a corner. Peter Oshea went to the cornerflag to take it. Martyon Phasey charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martyon Phasey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, PeiPei United's Martyon Phasey got a free kick in the 90th minute. 96 minutes into the match, PeiPei United's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Wadley came free, but Jarvis Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The PeiPei United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
