In the 19th match minute, Duffield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Tisdell to maneuver through the defense. Buchanan Mcgrath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Bran Devere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Virgin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reese Holdsworth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buchanan Mcgrath might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bran Devere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reese Holdsworth made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cliff Kreck got free with Bran Devere in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Logan Diehl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Quincy Harding left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brookong fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Brookong's Bran Devere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Brookong from getting a goal against them. Cliff Kreck succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Duffield were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
