The referee ignored Liverpool Allstars's protests and gave Art Fortington a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Liverpool Allstars's Art Fortington got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Andres Veitch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hells Bells SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool Allstars the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hells Bells SC's Andres Veitch got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Pete Alcock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Weller. Liverpool Allstars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pete Alcock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Andres Veitch came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Hells Bells SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Veitch couldn't finish the play. After 13 played minutes Hells Bells SC got a freekick which was hit by Adam Knevett. Dallas White charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dallas White the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hells Bells SC booed when Liverpool Allstars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dallas White didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Veitch in the 24th minute of play forced Liverpool Allstars's goalkeeper Richard Weller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Alberto Tout managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool Allstars's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tout was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Burns Schoenke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Andres Veitch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tout in the 43rd minute of play forced Hells Bells SC's goalkeeper Burns Schoenke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Wadley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burns Schoenke having to interfere. If Alberto Tout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Wadley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Veitch made a kick off. Alberto Tout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burns Schoenke having to interfere. Adam Knevett charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 59th minute of the match Jarrod Mcmillan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Burns Schoenke showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Henry Wadley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burns Schoenke having to interfere. Richard Weller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Veitch in the 65th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Arnold Saisell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hells Bells SC and the Liverpool Allstars players grew even worse after the yellow card. The attack was good, but when Alberto Tout in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Andres Veitch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hells Bells SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Veitch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pete Alcock might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Weller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pete Alcock ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 83 minutes, Alberto Tout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool Allstars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Arnold Saisell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liverpool Allstars's Richard Weller proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Liverpool Allstars from getting a goal against them. Craig Tevelien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Richard Weller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Pete Alcock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Weller was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Hells Bells SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
