In the 41st minute, Brookes Schoenke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Collins was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Brookes Schoenke kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Cootes was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Kogarah Reds's Arne Collins got control of the ball when Brookes Schoenke tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Carmichael Phillips got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 98th minute Carmichael Phillips shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stew Breasley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
