The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pierre Muncaster to strike the kick off in the second half. Pierre Muncaster did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Mark Butterfield 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Pierre Muncaster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fairfield-Liverpool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre Muncaster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Butterfield breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute of the match Bradley Millard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Butterfield showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dacosta Thomass short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Mark Butterfield to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mark Butterfield was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Sydney Eagles's Arne Waters got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Pierre Muncaster who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sydney Eagles's Mark Butterfield was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Pierre Muncaster sped through Sydney Eagles's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mark Butterfield. Darrell Trims received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mark Butterfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre Muncaster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Mark Butterfield made a huge save. In the 96th minute, Dacosta Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Fairfield-Liverpool FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sydney Eagles.
