In the 4th match minute, Queenstown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Macinnes to maneuver through the defense. Carsyn Angell kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Davey Deal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keefe Weller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cheviot's Luke Minne got a free kick in the 13th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Queenstown's Keefe Weller slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Davey Deal. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. After 24 played minutes Queenstown got a freekick which was hit by Hale Mealmaker. The supporters of Queenstown booed when Cheviot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Handley Cudmore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keefe Weller kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Davey Deal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keefe Weller in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute, Bradley Fazey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davey Deal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keefe Weller in the 54th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Bradley Fazey took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Eden Slattery to make any attempt to save it. If Bradley Fazey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Davey Deal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duffield Czaczka in the 67th minute of play. Bradley Fazey's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Eden Slattery skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luke Minne hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Bradley Fazey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheviot's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradley Fazey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eden Slattery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lowrey Cawthorne's late challenge caught a Cheviot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lowrey Cawthorne helped the player get up and apologised. Lowrey Cawthorne hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Bradley Fazey made a precise shot to the right of Eden Slattery. Queenstown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The supporters of Queenstown booed when Cheviot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luke Minne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cheviot succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Queenstown had controlled the match.
