Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Millfield's Steve Adamson got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Norman Obrien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kay Possov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corey Wilde in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute Edmonds Day shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russ Macumber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Millard kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 75 played minutes Millfield got a freekick which was hit by Steve Adamson. 79 minutes into the game, Neil Lambourne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kahibah's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Millfield the free kick. Neil Lambourne hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes Millfield got a freekick which was hit by Steve Adamson. After 88 minutes of play, Kahibah's Neil Lambourne made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Russ Macumber was left in no man's land by his defense there!
