Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Larry Crampton started the match with the kick off. Kevington's Eden Lowes got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Ellam's Doyle Newton got control of the ball when Benedict Jackson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute Michael Soekirno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Stanton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Ellam's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benedict Jackson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 17th minute of the match Dakota Day sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roland Stanton skillfully saved the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Ellam's Bryan Favas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roland Stanton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 24 minutes into the game, Larry Crampton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Roland Stanton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Michael Soekirno scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roland Stanton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Larry Crampton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Stanton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Bart Hayward hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Michael Soekirno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ellam fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Benedict Jackson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Doyle Newton firmly grabbed it by the left post. Larry Crampton might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland Stanton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Larry Crampton ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedict Jackson to make the kick off. Roland Stanton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Soekirno in the 52nd minute. After 57 played minutes Kevington got a freekick which was hit by Jordon Mackney. Kevington's Roland Stanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larry Crampton in the 59th minute of play. Jacob Wright kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kevington's goalkeeper Roland Stanton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute of the match, Larry Crampton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roland Stanton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Roland Stanton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larry Crampton in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Ellam booed when Kevington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eden Lowes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doyle Newton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedict Jackson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Eden Lowes hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute of the match Hal Norman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roland Stanton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Larry Crampton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Kevington got a freekick which was hit by Bart Hayward. In the 95th minute Larry Crampton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Stanton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ellam's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
