Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Norman Obrien took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hellscream's Handley Rhoades got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Kahibah defense, Duffield Surman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kay Possov. The Kahibah fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kay Possov should have stopped the shot. When Norman Obrien fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kahibah's protests and gave Norman Obrien a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kahibah's Norman Obrien got a free kick in the 15th minute. Howard Pegrum struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Kay Possov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hellscream. Kay Possov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duffield Surman, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Rodd Pearce might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kay Possov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodd Pearce ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute Duffield Surman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kay Possov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Duffield Surman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neil Lambourne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Drew Stageman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Hellscream's Duffield Surman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kay Possov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Neil Lambourne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neil Lambourne kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ace Keato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Kay Possov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duffield Surman was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Hellscream booed when Kahibah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Yard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kay Possov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Howard Pegrum in the 53rd minute. Duffield Surman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kay Possov came out and tried to block the shot, but Duffield Surman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 54th minute. The supporters of Hellscream booed when Kahibah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neil Lambourne didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Hellscream were awarded a corner. Jason Howard went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Duffield Surman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hellscream's supporters rose to their feet, but Duffield Surman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kay Possov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Howard Pegrum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes Kahibah got a freekick which was hit by Edmonds Day. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ace Keato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hellscream's supporters rose to their feet, but Ace Keato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kay Possov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 76 played minutes Kahibah got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Delfino. In the 79th minute, Howard Pegrum made a precise shot to the right of Kay Possov. Kahibah's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duffield Surman in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kay Possov saved Kahibah from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Kahibah's goal looked a bit too open when Ace Keato came free, but Kay Possov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ace Keato might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kay Possov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ace Keato ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kahibah's goalkeeper Kay Possov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Neil Lambourne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hellscream's Drew Stageman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Lambourne in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Hellscream left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kahibah.
