The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Herbert Swan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fletcher Sylvester was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The tension between the Adelaide United FC and the Arka Gdynia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Long Hunter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Craig Favas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herbert Swan to strike the kick off in the second half. Long Hunter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Parker Magrath in the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Parker Magrath in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Long Hunter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Kuskopf in the 64th minute of play forced Adelaide United FC's goalkeeper Long Hunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Kuskopf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Long Hunter having to interfere. Adelaide United FC's Long Hunter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brice Renny in the 70th minute of play. With his leg Fletcher Sylvester managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Adelaide United FC's Herbert Swan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Long Hunter came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Arka Gdynia's Parker Magrath. But to his dismay, Parker Magrath quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Parker Magrath scored 5-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Long Hunter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82 played minutes Arka Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Andrews Mcinnes. Long Hunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Craig Favas, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Carter Turner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adelaide United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arka Gdynia the free kick. Carter Turner hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Adelaide United FC's Long Hunter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Parker Magrath in the 92nd minute of play. Arka Gdynia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
