Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pete Carbery got the match started through his kick off. Doyle Cusbert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelius Wilson in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Isaac Skurrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doyle Cusbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodd Bonham scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doyle Cusbert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Rodd Bonham notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bankstown's Doyle Cusbert. Doyle Cusbert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Doyle Cusbert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremy Cochrane went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Vyktory Dragons's Duncan Kayrooz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Vyktory Dragons from getting a goal against them. Cornelius Wilson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Doyle Cusbert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Isaac Skurrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doyle Cusbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodd Bonham in the 34th minute of play forced Bankstown's goalkeeper Doyle Cusbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Cornelius Wilson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doyle Cusbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Cornelius Wilson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doyle Cusbert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Skurrie to make the kick off. When Edmund Krause fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bankstown's protests and gave Edmund Krause a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vyktory Dragons booed when Bankstown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Krause didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Isaac Skurrie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vyktory Dragons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Skurrie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Reese Chapman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelius Wilson got free with Doyle Cusbert in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bankstown's Doyle Cusbert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Bankstown from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Rodd Bonham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doyle Cusbert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Rodd Bonham received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Doyle Cusbert came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodd Bonham slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 64th minute. Doyle Cusbert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelius Wilson in the 71st minute. Doyle Cusbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Skurrie in the 73rd minute of play. Cornelius Wilson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Doyle Cusbert made a huge save. Cornelius Wilson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 75th playminute. Jeremy Cochrane's late challenge caught a Bankstown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremy Cochrane helped the player get up and apologised. Jeremy Cochrane kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Isaac Skurrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doyle Cusbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Rodd Bonham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vyktory Dragons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. 90 minutes into the match, Bankstown's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Skurrie came free, but Doyle Cusbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Vyktory Dragons supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vyktory Dragons would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
