Randall Lewry made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Roy Mudie. In the 40th match minute, Castlecrag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randall Sparrow to maneuver through the defense. The Castlecrag players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Red Devils United were winning 1-2.

A sloppy throw-in by Randall Lewry in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Castlecrag's Abbott Boston. 55 minutes into the match, Red Devils United's goal looked a bit too open when Bradshaw Allan came free, but Barnes Hunter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradshaw Allan in the 68th minute of play forced Red Devils United's goalkeeper Barnes Hunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes Red Devils United got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Arkinstall.
