Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carmichael Schulze took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ivan Bonham hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Red Devils United's Barnes Hunter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Dobson in the 8th minute of play. Tommy Pavkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bern Pears, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Al Angell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barnes Hunter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmichael Schulze in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Iggi Luckham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redlynch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Devils United the free kick. A collision led to Redlynch getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Iggi Luckham hit a great ball. After 22 minutes, Jayden Rose mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Redlynch and the Red Devils United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Jayden Rose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobs Gracey struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Tommy Pavkovic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Devils United. In the 26th minute Bern Pears shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Pavkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jayden Rose was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Red Devils United booed when Redlynch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jayden Rose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roy Mudie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Redlynch's Larkin Bouer got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bern Pears to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Roy Mudie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Devils United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roy Mudie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 54 played minutes Redlynch got a freekick which was hit by Cliff Kiel. Carmichael Schulze hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Redlynch's Tommy Pavkovic got control of the ball when Bern Pears tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute, Bern Pears got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bern Pears received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tommy Pavkovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Bruno Arkinstall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Berne Samuels fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redlynch's protests and gave Berne Samuels a yellow card for diving instead. Berne Samuels kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bern Pears got free with Tommy Pavkovic in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bern Pears struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Tommy Pavkovic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Devils United. The supporters of Red Devils United booed when Redlynch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cliff Kiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berne Samuels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Redlynch's goalkeeper Tommy Pavkovic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Redlynch fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Red Devils United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
