Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carmichael Schulze made the kick off and thus started the match. Carmichael Schulze charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmichael Schulze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Redlynch got a freekick which was hit by Carmichael Schulze. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Randall Sparrow in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Pavkovic saved Redlynch from getting behind. In the 18th match minute, Castlecrag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baxter Garing to maneuver through the defense. Randall Sparrow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Pavkovic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Bradshaw Allan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tommy Pavkovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradshaw Allan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Pavkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randall Sparrow in the 30th minute of play. Randall Sparrow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bradshaw Allan came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Castlecrag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bradshaw Allan couldn't finish the play. After 39 played minutes Redlynch got a freekick which was hit by Cliff Kiel. Randall Sparrow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Pavkovic was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Bradshaw Allan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bradshaw Allan really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bradshaw Allan was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Redlynch defense, Bradshaw Allan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Pavkovic. The Redlynch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Pavkovic should have stopped the shot. Baxter Garing kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match, Carmichael Schulze got a very nice opportunity to score, but Downing Millard was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Bradshaw Allan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute, Randall Sparrow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 minutes, Nelson Whatman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Redlynch and the Castlecrag players grew even worse after the yellow card.
