After a defensive mix-up in Vyktory Dragons's zone, Biggs Peterson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duncan Kayrooz came out of the goal and Biggs Peterson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bleyd Kreck fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vyktory Dragons's protests and gave Bleyd Kreck a yellow card for diving instead. 19 minutes into the game, one of Vyktory Dragons:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Vyktory Dragons's Rodd Bonham got a free kick in the 24th minute. Milton Harding could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Duncan Kayrooz made a huge save. Duncan Kayrooz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biggs Peterson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 42nd match minute, AFC Sutherland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Malacarne to maneuver through the defense. Charles Mcgrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelius Wilson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Biggs Peterson came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the AFC Sutherland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Biggs Peterson couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaac Skurrie to strike the kick off in the second half. Biggs Peterson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Duncan Kayrooz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, AFC Sutherland's goalkeeper Charles Mcgrath had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornelius Wilson. The long shot by Stewart Beaverley in the 65th minute really tested Charles Mcgrath's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Biggs Peterson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Duncan Kayrooz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68thth minute of the game Milton Harding who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vyktory Dragons's Duncan Kayrooz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Vyktory Dragons's Corey Pavkovic got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Cornelius Wilson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 75 minutes, Jeremy Cochrane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vyktory Dragons and the AFC Sutherland players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AFC Sutherland booed when Vyktory Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremy Cochrane didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryan Kaine during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ryan Kaine kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Vyktory Dragons's Bleyd Kreck couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AFC Sutherland. AFC Sutherland's Biggs Peterson got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Vyktory Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy Cochrane. Vyktory Dragons's Duncan Kayrooz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Harding in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vyktory Dragons's zone, Biggs Peterson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duncan Kayrooz came out of the goal and Biggs Peterson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vyktory Dragons's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dwight Mueller ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AFC Sutherland's corner Dwight Mueller fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Duncan Kayrooz quite easily take care of the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
