Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kevin Will started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Dugald Bowen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Goal Fc's Carlisle Askew. Carlisle Askew was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rick Fessey during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Fotas got a freekick which was hit by Rick Fessey. After 12 played minutes Goal Fc got a freekick which was hit by Jamie Collins. Goal Fc's Carlisle Askew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Costante in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Goal Fc's Mario Domeka dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Natalio Costante notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Goal Fc's Carlisle Askew. Carlisle Askew was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlisle Askew came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fotas's Kevin Will. But to his dismay, Kevin Will quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 27th minute Natalio Costante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlisle Askew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fotas booed when Goal Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Freeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Dugald Bowen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fotas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Carlisle Askew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dugald Bowen in the 38th minute of play. Natalio Costante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Carlisle Askew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Freeman during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Goal Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Freeman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dugald Bowen in the 44th minute of play forced Goal Fc's goalkeeper Carlisle Askew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fotas's Eraldo Scibilia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Domeka in the 49th minute of play. After the first half Fotas were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Domeka made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Kevin Will recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlisle Askew. Kevin Will showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 60th match minute, Fotas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cullen Jobson to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th match minute, Fotas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dallas Murphy to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th match minute, Goal Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkeley Wharton to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Fotas getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Battle Muller hit a great ball. Eraldo Scibilia came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Goal Fc's George Freeman. But to his dismay, George Freeman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Goal Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Dugald Bowen scored to the left of an out of position Carlisle Askew, making the score, 2-7. Kevin Will received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Carlisle Askew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Fotas's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Domeka came free, but Eraldo Scibilia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eraldo Scibilia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Domeka in the 98th minute of the match. Fotas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
