Spectators: 7437 (Terracing: 6337, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bern Morse got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Woolooma's Neale Freel got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After having played for 4 minutes, Rick Rosenboom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goochticklas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rick Rosenboom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bremen Mcinnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Drew See tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rick Rosenboom came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Goochticklas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rick Rosenboom couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neale Freel during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brant Kennedy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Navin Jury having to interfere. When Edmonds Tebbit fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goochticklas's protests and gave Edmonds Tebbit a yellow card for diving instead. Edmonds Tebbit hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Goochticklas's zone, Bremen Mcinnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drew See came out of the goal and Bremen Mcinnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Drew See took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bremen Mcinnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Goochticklas booed when Woolooma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathaniel Sedgman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neale Freel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Drew See tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Drew See showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bremen Mcinnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes Goochticklas got a freekick which was hit by Ian Travers. Woolooma's Navin Jury proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Woolooma from getting a goal against them. Goochticklas's Drew See played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bern Morse in the 46th minute of play. Bern Morse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rick Rosenboom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Woolooma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neale Freel to maneuver through the defense. Woolooma's Navin Jury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmonds Tebbit in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Ian Travers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes Woolooma got a freekick which was hit by Neale Freel. Nathaniel Sedgman charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nathaniel Sedgman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 65 minutes into the match, Woolooma's goal looked a bit too open when Brant Kennedy came free, but Navin Jury reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Woolooma's goalkeeper Navin Jury, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Woolooma's zone, Rick Rosenboom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Navin Jury came out of the goal and Rick Rosenboom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Drew See showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bern Morse in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Goochticklas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Travers to maneuver through the defense. Bremen Mcinnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drew See having to interfere. Navin Jury showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brant Kennedy in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Goochticklas's goal looked a bit too open when Bern Morse came free, but Drew See reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Travers might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Navin Jury. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Travers ran back to his position shaking his head. Bern Morse struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Drew See didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woolooma.
