Jonathan Castray in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. One of Woolooma:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION:s goal. Nash Bowen struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Navin Jury didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION. If Bremen Mcinnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Neale Freel fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woolooma's protests and gave Neale Freel a yellow card for diving instead. Jordon Fortington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bremen Mcinnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Nathaniel Sedgman charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nathaniel Sedgman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Woolooma got a freekick which was hit by Nathaniel Sedgman. If Nash Bowen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bremen Mcinnes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Arthur Tebbit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CYCLIST LIMA ASSOCIATION's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Woolooma the free kick.
