In the 26th minute, Adam Neich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Oceania Ghost Dusters FC's goalkeeper Quade Mcmurchie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Neich. Henry Lawrence didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duncan Schenck went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eden Lander in the 39th minute of play forced Oceania Ghost Dusters FC's goalkeeper Quade Mcmurchie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oceania Ghost Dusters FC's Downing Durbridge suffered a sore thigh after 39 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Drew Pears charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Drew Pears the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oceania Ghost Dusters FC's Adolph Stevens was substituted for Downing Durbridge. In the 40th match minute, Fort Kent FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drew Pears to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Oceania Ghost Dusters FC defense, Adam Neich kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quade Mcmurchie. The Oceania Ghost Dusters FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quade Mcmurchie should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duncan Schenck to make the kick off. Drew Pears didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Fort Kent FC's Adam Neich nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quade Mcmurchie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eden Lander in the 71st minute of play forced Oceania Ghost Dusters FC's goalkeeper Quade Mcmurchie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Irwin Mcvey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Neich struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Quade Mcmurchie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fort Kent FC. In the 84th minute Adam Neich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quade Mcmurchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Eden Lander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quade Mcmurchie was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. The audience was convinced that Adam Neich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quade Mcmurchie was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Adam Neich got in the 93rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Quade Mcmurchie handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Oceania Ghost Dusters FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fort Kent FC.
